The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has announced the establishment of ten new Regional Directorates across India under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008, aimed at improving administrative efficiency and regional oversight. These directorates will be based in major cities (New Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Hyderabad) and will manage specific states and union territories as detailed in the official notification. This restructuring will come into effect on January 1, 2026, representing a major move toward decentralizing MCA operations and making them more accessible to businesses.

S.O. 4851(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 68A of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008 (6 of 2009), the Central Government hereby establishes the following Regional Directors in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs specified in column (2) of the Table below to discharge the functions conferred upon them by the said Act or delegated to them by the Central Government under the said Act for the respective jurisdiction as specified in the corresponding column (3) of the Table below, namely:-

2. This notification shall come into force with effect from 1 January, 2026.
