Finance Bill, 2026: Union Budget 2026-27

The Union Budget 2026-27 has been presented in Parliament today, i.e. on 1st February 2026, by the Union Finance Minister, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman. The accompanying Finance Bill, 2026 laid out the Government’s proposals on:

Enactment of the Finance Bill, 2026

Once the Finance Bill, 2026 is approved by both Houses of Parliament, i.e. the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, and receives the assent of the Hon’ble President of India, it will be notified as the Finance Act, 2026, in due course later.
