DoPPW Special Campaign for Disposal of Pension Matters

The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW), Ministry of Pensions, Public Grievances and Personnel, has started the Special Campaign (SCDPM 5.0) activities.  The campaigns emphasis on lowering outstanding issues, integrating Swachhta principles improving monitoring procedures and streamlining record-keeping systems; carries on the legacy of previous years.

The DoPPW has set goals for this year, as under:-

i) resolution of 7,500 public grievances including appeals;

ii) 5,300 electronic files and 2409 physical files have been identified for review during campaign;

iii) currently 35 files out of 2409 physical files already identified for weeded out.

iv) 59 cleanliness sites across India; and

v) 20 new rules have been identified for pensioners convenience.

V. Srinivas Secretary (Pension) and other officials inspected the office space and encouraged the team to put in their best effort to achieve the campaigns objectives. Daily developments will be tracked and reported by a specialized monitoring team through the DARPG-managed SCDPM portal.
