Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri on Saturday said that more than 11 lakh appointment letters have been issued across the country since the launch of the Rozgar Mela, underscoring the government’s commitment to mission-mode recruitment.

Speaking at the 18th edition of the Rozgar Mela held at the Transport Battalion, Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP), Behlana Camp, Chandigarh, the minister highlighted India’s development trajectory and expanding global footprint.

Focus on Inclusive Growth and Youth Empowerment

Puri said India’s progress is being driven by growth in manufacturing, exports, logistics, renewable energy, and digital infrastructure, while emphasising that development is being pursued with a strong focus on inclusion.

“We are not just pursuing development, but development with social inclusion,” he said.

He added that large-scale recruitment through initiatives like the Rozgar Mela plays a crucial role in translating government policies into tangible benefits for citizens.

The Prime Minister reiterated the government’s resolve to build a Viksit Bharat by harnessing the potential and energy of the country’s youth.
